New York City is Turning Up the Wattage

New York (October 2010): Naomi Watts has been jetting from Cairo to Malaysia as of late filming her latest venture, Fair Game, a political action-thriller; however, when she’s not on the road she’s a regular mom-about-Manhattan.

This November in IN New York Magazine, the British-born Watts reveals what it is like living a decidedly domestic life Downtown with her fiancé, Broadway and film star Liev Schreiber, and their two sons, 3-year-old Alexander and Samuel, who turns 2 in December. “I’ve literally had people come up to me and say, ‘You look just like that actress, Naomi Watts,’” says Watts.

In addition to exotic locales, Fair Game will feature New York City locations, including Brooklyn Heights, the Meatpacking District and the Jumeirah Essex House on Central Park South. Meanwhile, Watts and family are often to be found at Bubby’s in TriBeCa, shopping in SoHo, or riding bicycles equipped with child seats during a family outing in Central Park. Of her life in the city, Watt’s says “I see myself as any other working woman, struggling to get it right and do the best I can.”
